Year 34-50 - June 16th - 0615 Hours.
The AI control most of the eastern front, and the western front is gaining casualties fast. After annihalating their main base in Farlia they have grown. Their machines are well armed and faster. Ammunition is low for us, and it looks like there is not much hope left. The supply drop zone has been demolished leaving no more chance of resources desperatly needed. We can only get resources from airdrops, which at the moment are impossible due to the amount of drones in the air. Our efforts to gain access to their cliff side bases are hopeless, they are just mowing down our troops with gun emplacements and mines. There is no more hope for Kreisau now, i have sent a message to our home planet to Ionise, and Radiate the entire area, killing the remaining human forces, but demolishing the planet, stopping them from getting any further into the galaxy.
Year 34-50 - June 24th - 1920 Hours.
With the success at Laval we have managed to hold off the enemy for another few days. Incoming reports show masses of AI-Dropships are inbound and will land sometime in the morning. War ships and Space Fighters have been sent to intercept these.
Messages sent from base core show that the Radiation and Ionisation will land before the AI-Dropships.
Year 34-50 - June 25th - 0700 Hours.
It is predicted that Ionisation cannons and Radiation cannons have been fired, and are heading through the atmosphere.
We are held up inside an old Library, there is no hope, out of my 50 men, only me and 2 remain. The AI are breaking through, I am now just hoping that they are destroyed before the AI get to us and kill us themselves.
This is Colonel Rankins, Sergant Marcus and Private Jenkins, wishing the best of luck to all humans that remain. From me and my team, we love our family, and hope you remember us as heroes not cowards hiding away.
Ion cannon inbound in 10...

amazing image man. and good idea behind all of this. you want some tips? you'll get 'em.
the planet collision thingie. it looks almost perfect. just. in the story there is no word about the collision. people might wonder why this is here. and i think the collision would cause a very strong blast, that would strongly lighten the atmosphere. so i think you should strenghten the atmo on those collisioned planets. very. like inner glow or whatever you use.
one more thing: all the highlights of planets are different. it's ok where planets have collision, but look: the lowest planet has lightside pointed down, so should be with others. try adding one more highlight layer on the smaller collision planet, that would point down too.
oh and, how did you make those spaceships? just curious. and you could add some more description about how you made that, i bet a lot of people (like me) would be interested in reading that.
once again, i love this piece mate. you got my fav.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
